She is the founder & CEO of SökerData, a pioneering health data platform providing aggregated, inclusive patient health data—both public and proprietary—to pharmaceutical research and discovery teams. With a deep passion for digital health, biotech, and patient-centric solutions, Elsa is at the forefront of revolutionising how healthcare data is leveraged to drive medical breakthroughs.
Her career spans global health, pharmaceuticals, and venture investment, with experience working alongside leading organisations such as the World Health Organization (WHO) and Cambridge University. An expert in infectious diseases and clinical research, Elsa has played a pivotal role in advancing digital health strategies and fostering collaboration between healthcare providers, biotech companies, and investors.
Driven by the need to make high-quality health data more accessible, Elsa founded SökerData, bridging critical gaps in clinical research and helping biopharma companies streamline drug development. Under her leadership, the platform is redefining how real-world data is used to improve patient outcomes and accelerate medical innovation. Through her experience in life science strategy consulting firms such as LEK Consulting and Guidehouse, she brings a unique blend of scientific expertise and commercial insight to the tech world.
A champion for women in STEM and a recognised leader in biotech, Elsa has received multiple awards for her contributions to science and entrepreneurship. She has been featured in top industry publications and is a sought-after speaker on digital health, clinical research, and female leadership in biotech.
Elsa holds a PhD in Infectious Diseases and Global Health from the University of Liverpool and has conducted research across Europe and Africa in an epidemic and the pandemic. She continues to drive impact at the intersection of health, technology, and investment, shaping the future of life sciences and digital health.
